ITP-BB- Research #4 - Sainsbury's Food Dancing Campaign

Sainsbury's Food Dancing Campaign
I wanted to try and find multiple examples of the campaigns that Sainsbury's have done that would of or could've been advertised through billboards, but I found it rather difficult to find more than one without not only searching Sainsbury's website but finding out companies that have helped create the campaigns because you often see with food brands advertising what they sell on billboards and see the adverts on TV. There were 3 that I was able to find, one of them is a very popular campaign that everyone seems to know and have spoken about as well as I believe it has been on a billboard.
Food Dancing Campaign
This is probably one of the most well known campaigns that has not only been over our TV's through moving image adverts, but the posters, billboards and pictures have been over social media around towns and outside shops to attract the public eye. This is my favourite advert by Sainsbury's because not only does it attract all target audiences, it shows how you can have fun whilst you are cooking as well as dances that relate to the foods that the people within the adverts have surrounding them.
Sainsbury's are also known for their Christmas campaigns and though I am not going to be basing my campaign on Christmas foods, their adverts show the route in which they tend to take when they advertise. You still see the big bold text as well as the foods in which seems to look fake and as though it was only made to look attractive. You can also see that the advert focuses around their 'Taste The Difference' foods which is the luxury version of their own brand foods and in some people's cases tends to look a lot more attractive and eye catching.
I have never really eaten or brought any of their luxury brand foods as I like to get more for my money so if I chose them as my client, it would be interesting to either work with the foods or make something out of the ingredients as you don't see that much on their billbaords.
Another campaign that I found was a summer one created by Hannah Maule-Ffinch woth food photography taken by Karen Thomas and shows the fresh and delicious food that everyone wants during summertime such as BBQ food and juicy fruit. 'Living Well' and 'Live Well For Less' are the slogans that I relate Sainsbury's too when talking about their advertisements and seeing them as even though they aren't the cheapest supermarket, their own brand foods are cheap and they give you options of how to create meals for less.
What stands out to me is the words rather than the foods because you can relate to them and even though the food is big a bold, the people and the text within the adverts stand out more which is interesting and if I was to choose this supermarket, I would think about ways to change yet have similarities.
